We’ve made some updates to simplify the request process. Now, EZBorrow requests can be placed through PittCat or through your Resource Sharing account (ILLiad). First-time users will be prompted to create an account (one-time setup.) Submission via these methods helps ensure faster service and fewer issues. If you ever need help placing a request, please contact ResourceSharing@library.pitt.edu

Additional details

You can use the "Expand to Non-Pitt Resources" option in PittCat search results to find materials not held by Pitt. This will show records from the Ex Libris Central Discovery Index (CDI). Items not held by Pitt will shown links to "request from another library".

However, if you place a request through PittCat using one of the links shown above or directly through your Resource Sharing account (ILLiad), then your request will be automatically checked against EZBorrow holdings.
