In general, it’s okay to print, download, or email a single copy of a work from a database or website for your own personal, non-profit use.

It's important to remember that information on websites or found in databases is almost always protected under copyright law. Emailing, printing, downloading, or otherwise sharing multiple copies of a work may veer into copyright infringement. It is a violation of copyright law and the University Library System's licensing agreements to copy an entire or significant portions of a database, even for personal use.
