The University Shuttle 25A (click here to view Pitt's Transportation Services page where you will find the schedules) runs between Hillman Library and the Library Resource Facility at 7500 Thomas Boulevard on weekdays.University of Pittsburgh Library System personnel often refer to the Library Resource Facility as "Thomas Boulevard".
The Archives & Special Collection Reading Room @ the Archives Service Center (Room 220) is located on the 2nd floor of the Library Resource Facility.
During the construction at Hillman Library, the 25A shuttle, picks up passengers on Forbes Avenue in front of Schenley Plaza (across the street from the Cathedral of Learning & Stephen Foster Memorial Hall).
The 25A shuttle drops passengers off at the front door of the 7500 Thomas Boulevard facility. It also is the same location to return on the shuttle to the campus.
The current shuttle is a grey multi-passenger van with a decal on the front doors that state, "25A Library Resource Facility."
Please be aware there are other University of Pittsburgh departments that also occupy sections of the Library Resource Facility. So, please indicate to the security guard that you need to come to the "Archives and Special Collections."
If you have question, please contact the Reference Desk at Archives and Special Collections at Thomas Boulevard (aka Archives Service Center) -- 412-648-3232.
Thank you!
