Laptops that you borrow from the library can be used off-campus, but you have to log-in to an on-campus wifi network (i.e. Wireless-PittNet or Eduroam) and sign into the computer with your Pitt credentials at least once before you leave campus.

Please note that library laptops will *not* recognize the MyResNet wifi network as on-campus. 

If the laptop loan period is less than one day, shutting off the laptop will reset it and you will no longer be able to log in off-campus.
