CB Insights is a global venture capital, angel investment, and private equity database. Users can track M&A and IPO trends, find information on the financing of startups including their industries, investors, and acquirers and get news on emerging industries and technologies.  Results can be filtered by industry, investor type, investment stage, deal size, funding amount, or geographic location.

The database is available both for on-campus and off-campus use. Find the database link on the Databases AtoZ Listing on the library's website.

First-time users will be prompted to create an account using their pitt.edu email credentials.
