Yes. To ensure that readers will be able to download and use your ETD in the future, it is important to keep the file size to a reasonable minimum. If your ETD exceeds 2 GB in size, it will trigger a special review by your school's student services staff who may recommend ways to reduce the total size in order to improve download speed. For example, embedded images scanned at very high resolution can often be reduced in size without sacrificing readability.
