The DMPTool is a free web-based resource that's widely used by researchers at institutions throughout the world.

It guides you through the creation of a data management plan that meets your funder requirements.  After logging in with your Pitt credentials, you will have access to templates customized with Pitt-specific resources.

The Research Data Management @ Pitt LibGuide is a great source for additional details about writing a data management and sharing plan.

Contact the Digital Scholarship and Publishing team to ask a question, set up a consultation with our Research Data Librarian, or learn more about the library's research data support services.
