Thomson ONE provides access to both current and historical SEC filings, and includes more than 3.4 million analyst reports on companies and industries from top investment banks and research firms.
This powerful database unfortunately only works in Internet Explorer, version 9 or earlier. If you are using a newer version of IE, open the browser and go to Compatibility View settings and enter "thomsonone.com" in the add this website box. Here's what you need to do to retrieve reports:
Mouse over Screening & Analysis, hover over Research, then click on Research Search.
An Advanced Research screen will load. In the Search Options section you can search by company. In the More Options section, you can search for keywords in the title or entire text of the reports, which will combine various company and industry analyst reports.
The default date range is the last 90 days, but you can expand that by choosing from the Date dropdown menu in Search Options. You can also search by industry, geography, and analyst.
When you click on the title of the report you would like to read, a Table of Contents pop up window will open. Check the box next to the pages you want to read (or check the box at the top to read the entire document) and select View at the bottom of the screen to open the PDF of the report in a new window.
