Children's books, including Young Adult titles, are available from the ULS.  Overall, there are historically significant materials, popular works, and current titles.   Some items are available on-site and others are available using the Get It service.

For an overview of historical children's materials, please see the Nesbitt Guide, the Nietz Old Textbook Guide, or the History of Children's Literature Guide.  You can also search PittCat for titles, authors, or subjects.  For author or illustrator biographical details, reviews, criticism, reading/lexile levels, and related information, please take a look at the Children's Literature database guide.

In addition to materials available from Hillman Library and Special Collections, PITT Greensburg and PITT Bradford libraries have children's literature and curriculum collections.  Learn more at Curriculum Collection--Greensburg Campus, Curriculum Resource Center--Bradford Campus
