We're sorry to hear that you're not able to access an ebook fulltext. We've found that some extensions on Chrome or Firefox can cause constant refreshing of the screen when viewing a book's Detail Page, causing the screen to sort of jump or twitch. We've discovered a work-around and also contacted the vendor and are waiting for it to be resolved.

One extension in particular is:  Acano, which is for platform-enabled audio and video meetings, screen sharing and chat.

If you are experiencing the problem described above, and you have this extension (you may not know if you have it without checking), please try disabling the extension.

If you don't have Acano, but you are experiencing the problem, you can try disabling all of your Chrome extensions, or disabling them one-by-one to see which might be causing the problem.

For Chrome, go to 3 vertical dots in upper corner of navigation bar

Choose Settings

Choose Extensions

Disable Mendeley extension

If you're in Firefox in the upper corner, click the Open Menu icon (3 horizontal lines)

Choose Get Add-Ons

Select Extensions--if you see the Acano extension, turn it off/remove.

If this does not resolve the issue, please write to Ask Us.
