Your subject librarian is available for help with your research--just contact him/her for a consult or questions. This is a great way to get familiar with PittCat, our online catalog, and the numerous subject-specific databases available to you, on an doff campus.
Or Ask Us--via email, phone, chat, or text.
We're happy to assist with questions you have about open access, scholarly communication, digital scholarship services, managing your data throughout the research lifecycle. If you're not yet using a citation management system, attend a hands-on class in EndNote or Mendeley. You may also be interesting in learning how to Get a PhD carrel or to obtain ETD support
In addition to many online journals, the library has many in print format; when the article that you need right away is in print at one of our libraries, you can scan it on-site using one of the self service scanners or consider our article delivery service for graduate students. Our Get It, EZBorrow, and Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services are ways to obtain materials when the books you need are not available from the library you're in. When you need just a chapter from a book that's not available from the ULS, consider using ILL, too!
Please go to the library homepage and mouse over Services and choose For Graduate Students to generate a complete dropdown list of services and resources.
