To measure impact of non-traditional research outputs (such as data, code, presentations, posters, etc.) you may want to consider using altmetric indictors.  These indicators will show how well these outputs are used and shared.  Services such as ImpactStory, and Altmetrics measure these types of impact. The University Library System provides access to the Altmetric Explorer. It is a web-based platform that enables users to search for and report on attention data of scholarly content.
