To measure impact of non-traditional research outputs (such as data, code, presentations, posters, etc.) you may want to consider using altmetric indictors.  These indicators will show how well these outputs are used and shared.  Services such as ImpactStory, or PlumAnalytics can capture these outputs and track their use and impact.
