Funder requirements around research data management plans and what must be done with the data after the completion of the research project differ. The ULS can help you to identify requirements affecting your project and refer you to resources that will help you to meet these requirements. Funders are increasingly requiring grant applicants to submit data management plans (DMPs) with their grant proposals, in an effort to promote data sharing and responsible stewardship of data by researchers. DMPTool has usefully compiled funder requirements and provides assistance in writing plans that address these requirements. ULS staff are available to help you navigate this tool.
